Gol Gumbaz
Bijapur and the Gol Gumbaz has become almost synonymous. The Gol Gumbaz is the second largest dome in the world with a diameter of 44 meter. One striking feature of the dome is that it is not supported by a single pillar. This dome is a highly sensitive echo chamber. Even the smallest sound is reverberated to the other side of the Gombuz.
Jumma Masjid
This mosque dates back to the second half of the sixteenth and the first half of the seventeenth century. It has the distinction of being one of the first mosques in India. Afzal Khan's Cenotaph
